After months and months of no rain, we definitely made up for it, we got over 11 inches (so far)this weekend. Brian ran out and poured out the rain gauge at 8:30 this morning and by 9:30 it had already reached 5 inches again - - - FIVE INCHES IN ONE HOUR!!!
We were supposed to be in town at 10:00 for the school festival, but did make it there until about 12:00, all of roads around our house were covered with water, one was even under water.
Of course we had to venture out to check it all out - walking of course.

Brian & the boys helping our neighbor fix the game-proof fence so the exotic deer wouldn't get out. The water and debris just pushed the fence over.
