My Photographers

The boys & I were enjoying a beautiful evening at home and planting some plants.
Noah saw a big lizard in the tree and wanted to take a picture of it, so after a few of those I told them to go and take pictures of whatever they wanted.
Noah did a great job.....
(see the lizard in the tree?)now you can see it
God's canvas.....so beautiful

Kade on the other hand was being goofy or needs a little more practice -
I think he needs more time to figure out the zoom on the new camera too

Our First Home

is now our Rent house......and has been our "only God" stories time and time again. From how we found it and bought it to our first renters and now our new renters......"only God" I'll post the stories one day probably as part of a Memorial Box post, so until then, here's a few pictures of the updated rooms.

The family room - this was our two car garage that we converted into the living/family room - the only update to this room is the new carpet.

The dining room - I love the colors she choose.
When we were there, we weren't brave enough to go with bold colors
The front bedroom - I guess it would have been Kade's room, but he was only 1 when we moved, so he didn't spend much time in it.

Aggie Game Days

The past few weekends the Aggie games have been home games, so the kids have been taking turns going with PoPo & MoMo.
They have been having a great time -
Thanks PoPo & MoMo for all the great memories.....

Updated Pictures

I finally went and had updated photos of the boys done.
The last time I had them done was last April, so I was way past due.
I was very please with them......
and I can't believe how much they have changed (especially Noah).

OH NO

.....yep, it's the big 4-0.....
.....but I ain't scared.....
.....bring it on....

more games

Noah had his first game yesterday.
He and his team did very well, and won the game.
We all had a good laugh when his coach asked if he wanted to move from a defender to a forward, and he hollered across the field, "no, I like it here".
As the defender he didn't have to do a lot of running and when the ball came in his general area, he booted it across to the other side of the field.

Monday before Kade's soccer game, we went and watched Juliette play volleyball. She did a good job in that one game we watched.

70

70 sounds old.......
but mom's not old...
...she's beautiful (inside and out)...
...she's loving....and caring....and supportive...
and dependable...always there when we need her...
....and she may be Granny to many....
but she's not old....

Happy 70th Mom

We Love You!!!!!

Cross Country

This weekend was a cross country event in a neighboring town. Katelynn ran early in the morning so we missed her because of Kade's soccer game. She did a great job, she finished 13th in the varsity division. We did get there in time to watch Juliette run. She also did great, she finished 19th our of 135 in the junior high division. And for our school the varsity girls finished 3rd over all and the junior high girls finished 2nd over all (note this was mostly public schools).
Way to go ladies...we are so proud of you...

Soccer

Soccer games have started - we've been practicing a couple of weeks now (hence my absence in posting). Kade had his first game Saturday morning....Noah was supposed to, but it was re-scheduled due to a conflict with a school function. So, for the next couple of month, we'll be out at the soccer fields.

Look Mom...No Tooth

Kade has been showing me for a week that his tooth was loose....this is his first, so he was so excited.
We talked about how when Noah lost his first tooth he didn't even know it, he was at school and after lunch it was gone, so we assumed he swallowed it - Kade kept saying he wasn't going to be like Noah and he was going to take care of his tooth, well, the other night we went out to eat for mom's birthday, and he was going to show her how loose the tooth was, and she said "oh you lost it", he was like "what?" and sure enough it was gone......we don't know where or when, but it's gone. Lucky for him, the tooth fairy didn't have to have the tooth to give him his dollar.

Big Brother's Birthday

Last week was my big brother's birthday - before going to the church picnic my sisters and I took him his cards and a cupcake with a candle in it and sang to him. Happy, Happy Birthday Donnie!!
