The St Paul Lady Cardinals are the TAPPS Cross Country State Champions for the 3rd year in a row!!!!!
This is Katelynn's 2nd year - two year in high school, two state medals....
She did great!!!

She finished 13th with a time of 14:24 and helped her team finish 17 points in front of the second place team.

In true small town fashion, anytime a state title is won, the team is honored with a welcome home parade - they ride on top of the fire engine #1 from one end of town to the school on the other with a police escort and plenty of proud fans joining in.

Getting Ready....

Last weekend we went out to the deer lease to get ready for the upcoming season. Brian worked on getting things working, and the boys & I went exploring and enjoyed the outdoors.

Net's birthday

I'm a little behind on posting, but better late than never.
Last week was my sister, Danette's birthday - we went to Victoria and enjoyed an evening out to eat with her and Debbie's family. Mom made her favorite cake and we decorated it with the kids favorite candy decorations - yes, it's Spongebob & Patrick on there....

Living Rosary

At school today the students did a 'living rosary'. Noah's class acted out the mysteries (he was an apostle) and other classes formed the rosary as the whole school prayed and sang.

Lovin the Weather

We have been having some amazing weather and I am loving every minute of it.

The mornings and evenings have been in the high 50's or low 60's and in the 80's during the day......amazingly wonderful!!
And it is the perfect weather to sit out on the patio with a fire going in the pit.
God is so awesome!!!

Parents Night & Football

Another event was the football game and parent's night.
It was a great football game and it was a big game too because it was two undefeated teams, vying for the top ranking......Well, we came out on top and are still undefeated!!!

Cousins

We had another busy weekend.......one of the events was an anniversary party for my uncle & aunt who are celebrating 55 years of married life.
I had a really good time visiting with my cousins that I don't get to see very often.my daddy with his sister & brothers
