....back to school is two weeks away, so it was time for fresh haircuts....

...actually I just could stand their long hair anymore....

Trailerhood with friends

With football season right around the corner, we had to get one more weekend in the trailerhood in...

...it was four families...which included 12 kids...10 boys & 2 girls (poor girls)...

...there was river floating, domino playing, poker playing, swimming in the pool, basketball playing, bike riding, bar-b-que-ing...

...and as always we had a great time!!

I know it's been a while.....but, we have a teenage boy in the house who used all of his minutes on his phone, then moved on to use the home internet to it's limit too...

...so I was down for a while, but I'm back now.....

football camp

The boys had football camp this week .... Kade was on cloud 9 .... I think Noah's enjoying it too, but he's not much of a talking....unlike Kade....plus his is a little more to it than Kade's...

Today was the last day, so I took off a little early and went and watched Kade's group for myself, and I'm so glad I did...after their drills they played a game, and my baby caught the football and scored for his team....Noah's still at camp, so I don't know how he's enjoying it, yet....

After Kade's age group's session, they had a former NFL player come and talk to them...Bo Schoebel is from a small town not far from our small town, after high school he played college football at TCU, then was drafted to the NFL...He played for the Titans, the Colts and the Cardinals....He played for the Colts when they won SuperBowl XLI .... He brought his jersey, and Superbowl ring for them to see .... they kids all loved it...

Sunday was KJZT Family Fun Day at Splashway Waterpark

We started the day with Holy Mass, had lunch, and then it was fun time in the waterpark...

 

weekend fun

we've been so busy working and going camping and going here and going there that we haven't had a chance to go to Brooke & Adam's new house ..... until this past weekend that is .... their house is beautiful, and we loved being there.  It had a lot to do with the hospitality, but doesn't hurt that they live in my favorite place to visit ...Bryan/College Station...

We grilled at their house on Friday and after chilling for a while on Saturday, we went Grand Entertainment where we all played laser tag, glow ball mini golf, and arcade games .... so much fun!!

sweet surprise

With the guys working now, the summer 'honey do' list has been neglected...well, they were in between jobs last week, so they checked a few off the list....and it was a sweet surprise to see the one I wanted done the most (painting the outside of the house) done.....

....they would be upset if I didn't tell this part of the story...they worked hard on it, and I didn't notice it when I drove up, so on the second day they took me by the hand and showed me.

summer job

With the boys being older now, Brian thought it was a good time for a summer job....

so we purchased a Bobcat and the attachments, and they have been busy building fence

making memories

I love when a holiday falls close to a weekend, because it allows us to have a get away.  The down side is everyone else does the same thing....but we still had a good time..

We tried a new place this time...the four of us left on the 4th (after a little set back, but praise God, it wasn't too big of a deal), then Debbie, Conner & Cierra joined us on the 5th & 6th, and we came home today...

...We Love all the time we get to spend making memories...
