Fun, Exciting Weekend

This is the weekend that Brian, Noah, Brooke & Adam went to Texas Motor Speedway. We've been checking in with them and they are having a great time. If you don't remember, my sister won tickets from the radio station which includes 2 tickets to Saturday’s race, 2 tickets to Sunday’s race, and 2 pit passes to be used both days, and she gave them Brian & Noah (even though she is a big racing fan). The only draw back was that in order to used the pit passes, you have to be 18 years old, so Noah wouldn't be able to use it, so Brian was going to let Brooke & Adam use them. Well, when I called them this morning Noah answered and said "guess where I am - in the pits". At first I didn't believe him, but from the excitement in his voice I knew he was for real. They happen to have breakfast with one of the pit crews at their hotel this morning, so the guys from the crew got him in. They didn't see any drivers, but said they took a lot of pictures with different pit crews, so I will be posting more later with pictures.
They are all very excited about their fun weekend, however I don’t think it’s the “pee in your pants” excitement Net had when she won, but it’s close.
Kade & I are also having a good time. I thought about different fun things to do, but didn't have to decide on anything because it came to us. My sisters and nephews came over for a slumber party weekend. Friday night was a real exciting evening ;) Net read her book, Deb slept in the recliner, I did laundry, and Beau played board games with Kade & Conner - the kids had fun so that's what really counts. On Saturday we went to Granny & PawPaw's and the boys rode 4 wheelers and bikes, and just played and played. We also went to church that evening, had hamburgers and then they came over and spent the night again. Kade & Conner watched a movie in the tent, and my sisters and I watched a non animated, non kids, real "big person" movie. It has been a really enjoyable weekend. There were a lot of cute photo opportunities, but I didn't have a camera, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
