First Day of School

Today was the first day of school - Noah started the 3rd grade, and Kade is going to "Granny's School" (he could go to 3-K, but we decided to keep him at my mom's).
Noah said his day was good, not much elaboration. . . .
At 'meet the teachers' on Thursday, we saw that one of his best friends sits right behind him, we laughed that that wouldn't last very long, so he was so proud to tell us that they were still in the same spot, and they didn't talk - - we'll see how long that lasts. As for homework, well, the spelling words came home already.
Kade was so excited to take his backpack this morning. Aunt Net bought him some colors and a writing tablet, and we sent an ABC coloring book, he had to bring the coloring book home so we could do homework.
