end of school fun day
To celebrate the end of school, and as a special fun day for the 8th grade boys I organized a fun day at a paintball course....and by the amount of talk, laughter, and smiles from 17 boy, I'd say they all had a great time!!
Beaming with Pride
We have had a week of so many proud moments...not that we not always proud of out boys, but when they are recognized for their accomplishments, it makes us beam with pride....Both of the boys were recognized at their award ceremony for being on the honor roll all 4 semesters of the school year!!
8th Grade Recognition
Noah & Katarina had 8th Grade Recognition...we began with mass, where Fr. Kirby had a wonderful homily, and then had the recognition ceremony...

During the ceremony we had the biggest and best surprise ever!!! Noah won one of the two scholarships for his freshman year free at St. Paul!!!
This was a true blessing...the scholarship was opened to all incoming freshmen...they had to apply for it by writing a letter to the scholarship committee, fill out the forms with their community service / volunteer hours, etc and a short essay as to why they deserve the scholarship...I had to stay on him to get it all done, but it was all worth it....We are all sooooooo proud of him!!

Baccalaureate
On Sunday, our church had baccalaureate for the seniors from both schools...it was nice seeing and praying for all the young men and women that will be graduating soon.
And Katelynn was one of these special young women...

...sorry it's been so long since I posted....
...it's a very, very busy time of the year...
...and when I'm home, I'm either washing clothes or sleeping....
....rewinding back...
...we had an enjoyable mother's day...
...didn't take pictures, but saw this on FB and thought it was too cute not to share...
...after reading it, Noah said 'yep, I've done them all'...

Creepy Crawlies
With the recent, wonderful rains, the creepy crawlies have been out...
Conner & I were mowing the yard on Saturday and as he was walking by a tree he almost stepped on something, and immediately let us know
...Thank God he did....
...it was a Copperhead...
..a very poisonous snake..
Birthday Celebration #3
Kade had a few friends over on Friday to round out the birthday celebrations....
It was a fun time...they played football, went for a walk, hit golf balls, played video games, watched a movie, acted silly...all the usual fun stuff young guys do...
