wild weather

wow, the wind was so wild yesterday....

when Kade & I got home I took this picture of our flag to show just how windy it was

as we drove up to the house we saw that not only were plants and chairs blown over, but the gate to the back yard was wide open and the dogs were gone...so we got in the truck and when we got to the end of the drive way our flag, holder and all, was laying in the middle of the driveway, so we stopped to pick it up, and lucky for us, the dogs came running to us...

And 7 1/2 hours to the north west of us, Beau's classes were all cancelled due to snow & wind

Jr. High Track Meet

Noah participated in the Jr. High Track Meet this weekend - he was in the 400M, Shot Put, and 4 x 100 relay - he did well in all, but only placed in the relay (4th place).

bye bye ol' blue

after 35 year, it was time to say bye, bye to o' blue...Daddy (PawPaw) really didn't want to...but sadly, it was time...it played out..

guitar lessons...

...Kade had his first guitar lesson today....

...he was excited and seemed to really enjoyed it...

...I'm pretty excite about it too, can't wait till he's strumming out some sweet tunes...

...(it may be awhile for the sweet tunes, but until them I'll have to enjoy listening to him practice)...

Goofiness or Creativeness?

...after deciding that 'dolly racing' sounded like fun, they padded Kade up with several layers, posed for a few pictures and took off....

...you never know with these boys....

missing football?

....For the first time ever, I purchased Dave Campbell's Texas Football...

...year after year it usually has a t-sip on the cover, but finally our guy is there....

...and to my surprise, at the back of the magazine, there's a picture of the running back from our small high school, he was named TAPPS 11-man player of the year for division III...

...can wait for August...
