Junior Division Day
this weekend we had the KJZT Junior Division Day
mass, recognition ceremony, lunch

Wow, it's been a week since I posted...
...since my last post...we've been pretty busy...we at least I have been....I'm the one that works all summer...unlike these bums here at my house...
...anyway...
...Noah's therapy has been going very good - he hasn't used crutches since last Tuesday....
...the boys had their yearly check-up, and other that Noah's ankle, they are in perfect health...
...Noah at the age of 13 years 6 months is weighing in at 144 lbs and is 68 3/4 inches tall...
...Kade at the age of 8 years 2 months is weighing in at 76 lbs and is 53 1/4 inches tall...
...the also both got MUCH needed hair cuts...
...when we thought about it we realized that their last haircut was for Brooke & Adam's wedding in March...

...the travel trailer is also getting a new top...we had a RV cover put up to help protect it...

Therapy/Rehab
Noah had his second day of therapy/rehab today, and it went very well...
...so good that he's limping around all evening without his crutches....

Weekend Getaway...
I can really get used to these weekend getaways in the trailerhood....
I've always heard people say it's a lot of work preparing, and a lot of clean up when you get home, but it's worth it....and as of now I totally agree....
...we had a fun day in the sun....
...there was a chance for rain, but the good Lord answered our prayers and it went right around us...

Noah's good news...
...today was the long awaited follow-up appointment day...
the wound center said his heel is much, much better & they released him - 1st part of the good news
then we went to Dr. Followwill and he said the break at the ankle is completely healed, he can stop wearing the boot, and can start working on walking on it.
Therapy will begin as soon as we call and get it set up.
The smile on his face was priceless.
It was the good news he was hoping to hear.
He knows he still has a road ahead of him, but will praise God and take every bit of good new he gets.

I do not know how I ever thought this was fun..
...but I do know that as a kid, we liked it...all the older grandkids have also liked it...now the little ones had their turn, and like all the rest, they liked it....
But, being the age I am now, there were a few times I just couldn't watch

Half Moon Holidays
It was parade day....a very hot parade day, but it was good...PoPo, Katelynn & Kade were in it, and the rest of us watched, waved and collected candy as all the participants went by...
...some traditions are too good to miss...no matter how hot it is in July in Texas....
