Trying to beat the Heat

We decided to try & beat the heat by going to the lake on Sunday......PoPo, MoMo, & Rina came with us, and we had a great time.....the temperature in the vehicle on the way home showed 112...

1st Day of School

It's here.....The day the kids have been dreading.....summer vacation is officially over....the 1st day of school is here....Noah is in the 7th grade.....Kade in the 2nd grade.....it will be a year full of exciting and new things....Noah will be playing football, and other sports.....toward the end of the school year Kade will receive First Holy Communion.....Here's to an exciting 2011-2012 school year!!!

Awesome Grandparents!!!!

These kids have some awesome grandparents!!!!!Due to work trips and vacations Granny & PawPaw have 6 of the 10 grandkids spending a couple of nights with them, and sometimes during the day Beau will join them too.
When I call they don't have much time to talk because they are having too much fun, which is okay with me because I know they are making memories that will last a lifetime!!!

I'm in MN

After 1.5 hour delay at the airport, I finally made it to the Twin Cities around 4 pm.
The weather is so pleasant, probably in the low 70's....
The only pictures I took was just at the hotel (I forgot I had the camera until I got back from dinner). The picture of the pool is one of the view's from my window (taken for my boys).

Getting Ready

Kade's backpack is packed - only one week away from school starting....this week we have meet the teachers for Kade and follow the bell for Noah.....thank God for grandparents because Brian & I will both be out of town with our jobs that evening....
Aunt Net loves shopping for school supplies.....thank God for Aunts too.....I took some cute pictures of her and Kade going through his list and the supplies.......but I accidentally deleted them before I uploaded them (yeah, I'm sick about it too)...so you'll have to settle for Kade packing it all into his backpack...

Family Therapy

Most people just refer to it as working cows or selling cows......not us...we call it 'family therapy'...everyone gets yelled at....everyone yells....sometimes you "accidentally" get hit by the whip...and when we're done, everyone sits in the front yard with a cool drink and laughs.

This weekend they were only selling and did it on Friday evening....I was in my work clothes, so I lucked out.....and I snuck out and snapped a few pictures (without my daddy knowing, cuz he would have yelled at me if he would have known) :)
