It's Official..

!!!!Summer Break is here!!!!

Noah told Granny that he knows summer break is here, when asked why he said 'because I'm at Granny & PawPaw's house in my athletic shorts, eating hot dogs and listening to polkas'....gotta love it!

We now officially have a 7th grader & 2nd grader

things to look forward to:

Noah - football.....basketball......track.....

Kade - 1st Reconciliation....1st Communion.....

They both did very well this school year -

Noah was on the honor roll all year,

and just barely missed highest honors this last semester

he had all As (94 or higher) and 1 B (90)

1st grade doesn't do honor roll, but if they would Kade would have had highest honors.

the pointy monster

We had a cactus type shrub thing (I don't know what it really is, but will call it the pointy monster) down at our entrance that just kept getting bigger and bigger. We have been wanting it out, so finally this weekend we got to it. Kade was our hard working young man and conquered it (with a little help from the truck & dad).after conquering the pointy monster, he helped out mowing...

Noah was at a classmate's birthday party, but did help out later with mowing the yard.

....Noah's hair was getting so long he had curls - he loved it, but it was looking a little shabbyis he handsome or what!!

.... and Kade, poor baby has thin hair like me, so when it gets a little long he looks like a chia-petsuch cuteness!!! attitude and all!

.... as for me, I just needed it freshened up a little

Dear Tooth Fairy...

The tooth is finally out!!

Kade's top front tooth has been loose...very loose...for a few days. We tried and tried to get him to pull it, or let Brooke pull it, but he would not. Today when I got home he couldn't wait to show me, only he tried to fool me first. He said he swallowed it, which I believed because it was that loose. What really happened was his teacher made him go to the school nurse and she pulled it. So it is now tucked tightly under his pillow for the tooth fairy to come and get.

Another State Title

Way to go Lady Cardinals & Cardinals!!!!!
This weekend our girls & boys brought home our 4th & 5th state titles of the 2010/2011 school year. For a high school of approximately 75 students, I'd say it's been an amazing year. The Lady Cards brought home the title in Cross Country for the 4th year in the row (Katelynn was a part of that team), then the boys brought home the title in Football, next the ladies won the first state title in school history in track, and yesterday both the Lady Cardinals & Cardinals brought home the state title in softball & baseball.
Katelynn is the 1st baseman and had a great season.
Way to go, we are so proud of you!!!!

Mother's Day

Today was spent with wonderful women we dearly love. . . .We started the day at early mass with both our moms there, then we had lunch at my parent's and supper at Brian's parent's.
Yesterday the boys treated us to lunch and ice cream, then we went to the nursery and got flowers and veggie plants for the garden. We then went home and planted the garden and potted the flowers.

We even had some help planting the garden

A Sure God

This weekend we had the memorial service for NaNa - Brian's grandmother - she was a very special lady . . . a rare jewel . . . we love her so much and will miss her . . . but we know that we have another angel looking down from heaven.
Brian's older brother, Chris came down for the services so we took the opportunity to take some family snapshots.
