We (Brian & I) took 11 campers to Catholic Family Fraternal of Texas - KJZT Camp Guardian Angel. It was at a new location this year and one thing we loved about it was that instead of a 3 hour drive, it was only 1 hour. Everyone had a great time. . . . .

. . . . . BB Guns, Paintball and Archery . . . .

. . . . an awesome high ropes course . . . .

. . . . dancing . . .

. . . . . a hayride . . . .

. . . . sweeping (wishing it were sleeping instead of sweeping) . . . .

and the best of all, daily prayer and mass

Family Vacation

This year was the 10th annual "S" Family Vacation, and it was great!

There was a lot of Tubing Fun, playing in the water, boat riding (& driving - you go Noah), some relaxing (cool chair mom), and a little fishing (Conner just liked casting - without a hook of course).

It was an all out great time with the family.

Busy Bake Sale Weekend

Whew - what a busy weekend.

As a fundraiser for the kids camp expenses we had a bake sale after the masses this weekend. So Saturday was spend baking and preparing, then we set up and sold after the evening mass, then took all the goodies home to bring back and do all over again after two masses this morning. We had a really good turn out, and other than the cost of what we spent for the bake sale or raffles we bought, the cost of camp for nine campers is covered.
