'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make straight your path.'

VBS (by Noah)

It was fun - we learned lots of songs and dances, and we played fun games. The snacks were good.

Beau's Birthday

Beau turn 18 on Saturday - he and his friends got together that evening, so we had lunch at Granny & PawPaw's today.

Camp Out

Friday evening Brian's Aunt & cousins came to his parents house to camp out. We went and spent the evening with them - the kids fished, Brian helped them set up the tents, PoPo grilled burgers, we made smores, and all had a fun time visiting. They all spent the night out there, but we came home and slept in then went back out there around noon.
Friday evening/night it was beautiful out there - they didn't get any rain, but there was rain in the area and it cooled things off nicely, but Saturday afternoon it was pretty darn warm.

Fun and Games

Last night we brought out the games for a family fun night. They didn't like when I won in Cranium, but oh well - I used to take it easy and let them win, but after they started expecting to win and telling me I should let them win, I decided to play fairly and if I win, so be it, they need to learn to lose too.
Kade did come back and beat us in Lego Create It - fair and square.

Annual Family Vacation

Again this year my side of the family had our annual family vacation at the lake. This is our 8th year to do this, and it's always a lot of fun. The fun included tubing, knee boarding, wake boarding, riding on the boats, fishing, floating, swimming, tanning, eating, drinking, roasting marshmallows, playing in the sand (we brought our own), playing donimoes, chasing coons, and just spending time together.

Father's Day

This year's Father's Day was celebrated partially at the lake and part at home - dad (aka PawPaw) doesn't go to the lake with us - he has his own vacation (from all of us) at home.
So, here's to all the dads - we love you!!
