The Garden is Planted
We spent most of today getting the gardens ready. We cleaned ours out and planted it, and planted at Diane's. Rain is in the forcast, so hopefully it will be a good amount - but not too much to wash everything right out of the ground. Family teamwork makes gardening easier.

A "Natural" Fun Family Day
Friday the four of us went to Natural Bridge Caverns & Wildlife Ranch - - this was the boys first time there, and they enjoyed it so much. We started out at the Wildlife Ranch, as we drove through they were so excited with all the animals that were walking right around the vehicle. They would throw a little food out and watch the animals eat it, and the zebras & llamas came right up to the windows and wanted to eat out of your hands - the boys Loved this. After drive through, we went to the petting zoo, they had an area with little goats, both boys loved it, but if Kade could have taken one home, he would have.
After that we went to the Caverns - the boys kept saying that they've never been in a cave before. They were so excited when we started going down into it, they were in awe of this natural beauty. Noah had a lot of questions and a little over half way through, Kade was pooped out and wanted to be carried - good thing we had Dad the science teacher and power lifting coach there to come to the rescue for both.

More Park Fun
Another day, another park.
After Granny (my mom) took us out to eat, I took the boys and 3 of my nieces to a local park.

Spring Break
The kids are on spring break this week, but Brian's is next week. I worked Monday & Tuesday, and took the rest of the week off to spend some fun time with the boys.
Monday was a rainy day, and Tuesday it was cloudy and too wet to do much, but the boys were okay with it because Brooke spent the night and they got to stay up late, sleep in, and play Wii.
Today was a beautiful day so, we loaded them all up and went to Victoria. We went to a couple of different parks or playgrounds, and to the duck pond, out to eat, and to the zoo.
I think they all had a good time.

The Circus Came to Town
Yes, the circus came to our small town - it wasn't anything big, but it was a fun family evening. A neighbor of my parents had some tickets to sell, but instead, she bought all 5 and gave them to our kids (our 2 boys & my brother's 3 girls). Thanks Ms. Rose, you're the greatest!!
The kids had such a good time - Noah said his favorite part was the clown and guy on the trampoline. Kade like the girl on the trapeze, and he really enjoyed riding the elephant and the pony. My favorite part was seeing the smiles of their faces, and hearing their laughter.
