Thanksgiving Holiday

We had a very good Thanksgiving holiday!!
There was a lot of family, fun, food, football, naps, games, and a little shopping (a lot by one).
Thursday was with my family, Friday we were spread out all over the state, Saturday with Brian's family, and Sunday was a little of both. It was great!!!! We love being together with family, and are so grateful to God for the close families we have.
Sadly, now we have to go back to reality :(
On Friday, Beau and the Cardinals lost their playoff game, they played really good and held the other team to only a 2 point lead all the way to the 4th quarter, the final score was 32-14. Congratulations to them on a great season.
And how bout them Aggies ------ they beat the hell outta tu.

Nicolette - everything she has
Angelette - hot dogs & dogs
Conner - his tractor & jeep, and his mommom, dad & bub
Cody - family & freedom

Thank God for all the abundant blessings he as bestowed on us.

I'm back

Okay, I know I've been slacking a little, but I've been a little under the weather, but I'm back.
A few updates ---
Dad is doing much better, he did have some scans done and they came back fine, only deep bruises, and yesterday he got his stitches out. He still has some soreness, but he already asked the doctor if he can go back to work - maybe next week.
The Brahmas lost last Friday, sad for the season to end, but happy to have my hubby home.
The Cardinals won - yeah!! - and they play on Friday in Ben Brooke. I'll have my ears on the radio listening to the Cardinals, and my eyes on the TV watching the Aggies (from the warmth and comfort of home)
We went out to eat this evening for Diane's birthday, and her and Ronnie's 20th wedding anniversary - wow, 20 year!

Playoff Bound

Both the Cardinals and the Brahmas made the first round of playoffs - the Cardinals will be playing a Waco team, and the Brahmas will be playing East Bernard.
Good Luck to both Teams!!

Close Call

My dad has an accident at work on Friday, and scared all of us. He is doing much better today, but is still in quite a bit of pain. He was changing out a cable on the bulldozer which had the rake on it. In doing so, he lost his footing, and fell, hitting his head on the rake, and felt a lot of pain in his mid-section and back. He finished up the job (about 2 hrs) and then went home, once there, he couldn't even make it in the house, so mom took him to the ER. He got 5 stitches in the back of his head, and the mid-section is supposed only deep bruises. Dad's not quite sure of all the details of what happen, we just know the good Lord was watching over him.
He was getting around a little better today, but has to use a walker to do so. For all of you who know my dad, know that he's fit to be tied. Although I must say he wasn't too bad of a patient this weekend when he had all of us there looking out for him.

Noah's 1st Bird

By Noah:
Beau and I went out in Pawpaw's pasture with our BB guns and I shot a bird. I was very excited because it was my 1st bird.

Haircuts

Tonight was haircut night. One of the many talents of my wonderful hubby is giving the boys haircuts, which is wonderful because it save us some money. We now have our handsome little boys back - not that they weren't handsome before :)
