Aggie Game Day

We went to the Aggie Game Saturday and had a Great Time!! (thanks MoMo & PoPo)!! We left early (7 am-too early for a Sat morning), because we wanted to go to Brooke's apartment, and then to march in. Well, we didn't quite make it in time for the step off, but did get to see some of it - - Noah was in awe, and loved it - I think he would have enjoyed it even more if we would have made it in time to see the band take off (oh well, maybe another time). The game was fun, and we beat the hell outta Baylor! One of the boy's favorite things is the fly overs -- they had a special treat because this game had one before the game, and one at half time. After the game we met up with Steven & Olsen down on Kyle Field where the boys tossed the football around & tackled each other. This was Noah & Kade's first time on the field so they were really excited and had a blast. Then we went out to eat with Brooke & Adam, and then went to the mall. When we were leaving the mall, they noticed Jarvorskie Lane in one of the stores, so he autographed Noah & Kade's tickets for them. We ended the day going back to Brooke's apt before hitting the road and getting back home around 10:45. You're probably asking why we didn't just spend the night/weekend there, well, when one of you is a high school football coach, all you get is day trips - and you're lucky to get that.

A Good Day

Hi, it's Noah, today was mom's birthday. We went out to eat and it was very good. Bye.

kade here - happpppppy biiiiiiiiiirthyy mom

Today was a good day, and for the first time in 3 years, my birthday evening didn't include visiting my dad in the hospital :)
Thanks to all my family and friends who called, emailed, and / or sent cards. You all made my day special, even though some of you had to make jokes about my age - you're just jealous because you're older ;)

First Soccer Game

Noah had his first soccer game today. His team - the Hurricanes - played a very good game, however, we were outscored. I don't think an official score is kept, but according to the parent's score keeping the other team had 2 or 3 more than us. We were tied almost the whole game until the very end.
Noah played goalie - this was his first time ever, and he did a great job. I was so proud of him!!
His next game is Tuesday.

Scoreboard

Bloomington 13 - St Paul 10
Beau scored the TD - yay!!!!!

A Typical Thursday

We started the evening off 'on the go' - our Jr. high had a football game at 5:30, and Katelynn is a cheerleader, so we wanted to go watch for a few minutes before heading to Noah's soccer practice. Well the other team didn't made it on time, so we didn't get to see too much.
While at Noah's practice in the park, I thought a good way to occupy Kade, and for me to get a little exercise, I'd go walking and he'd ride his bike. Well, we made a total of one time around the park, and had to stop for him to get a drink of water a total of 3 times (it would have been more, but I wouldn't let him). I didn't get much exercise in, but oh well, maybe next time. After practice, it was on to the house for hot dogs, homework, showers, and bed. Oh, and because it's a Typical Thursday, Brian has a JV football game, so he won't be home till about 11.

Another Birthday Celebration

This evening we were once again celebrating birthdays - Donnie's was this past week and Mom's is this coming week. We all had a fun time, and the food was great.
