Kade had his First Reconciliation this weekend.
It was so sweet to see all the little ones getting nervous about telling the priest their sins.
They had a short prayer service before each student went to confession. After their individual confessions they joined their family in the pew, prayed their penance, then went to the alter with their parents and lit a candle.

Thank you, God for forgiving my sins. Than you for sending Your Son to die for my sins and for rising from the dead so that I can have new life in You. Thank you for giving the Catholic Church this sacrament of Reconciliation so that I can stay close to You. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
