'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make straight your path.'

Aunt Lita is here

Brian's aunt from Virginia Beach is down visiting for a couple of weeks. She got in on Sunday just in time for PoPo's party, and has been on the go since (and won't be slowing down any time soon). Last night they went to Rina's game, and tonight they came to Kade's game, and then went to Katelynn's game. Thursday they plan on coming to Noah's game and Friday we're all going to meet up with Brian's brother from ME who is in SA for work. Then on Saturday they are going to a wedding. She's either going to be really bored when she gets home, or really ready to relax.

It's been about 3 year since she was here last, so she was very surprised when Noah walked up to her and was taller than her. I know it doesn't take much to be taller than her, but 3 years ago he was still pretty small.

PoPo's Party

Last week Brian's dad aka PoPo turned 60.
We celebrated with family and friends on Sunday and had a really, really good time.

Favorite Book Character Day

The boys both reached their AR points goal for the third nine weeks, so they had the privilege of dressing as a book character. And because they dressed up they were also treated to ice cream.
Congrats boys, we are proud of you!

Easter Monday

The kids and I had Easter Monday off, so I wanted to do something fun with them.
It was so beautiful outside, so I called mom who had the girls and Conner and told her my plan to pick up lunch and take the boys to the park, and asked if they wanted to join us, and they did. We enjoyed lunch at the park, then played on the awesome playground, and had a lot of fun!!

Easter at PoPo & MoMo's

Sunday we went to Brian's parent's for Easter.
The boys had another egg hunt (yes, they have grocery bags, I forgot their baskets at home). And they had more fun with confetti eggs (PoPo's such a good sport).

Here I had them pose for a picture, which isn't unusual so they never suspected that Dad, PoPo & MoMo were about to get them.

Loot from the Bunny

After celebrating Christ's resurrection at early mass, the boys rushed in the house to see what they received from the Easter Bunny. And of course he didn't disappoint.

Easter at PawPaw & Granny's

Saturday morning was the traditional dying of the Easter eggs.
Later was bluebonnet pictures (and some picking).
The place across from my parent's house was so full and thick that in some areas that the kids could hide in them.

And there was the egg hunt And of course the fun with cascarones (confetti eggs)
