Beautiful, Beautiful Sunshine!!

We hope it's not too long before we see you again . . .

Getting Ready

We've been having the winter time blahs, so when the sun came out today, we were out too.
We also received notices of the T-Ball and baseball teams and practice schedules, so it's time to start getting ready. We threw for a while at home, then after a quick nap (by dad) we went to PoPo & MoMo's and played some more. They had more fun there because they got to bat instead of just throw.

Game Night

For Valentine's we gave the boys a Spongebob Cranium board game and finally had the chance to play it the other night. Kade loved drawing & sculpting and Noah had fun acting things out. We all had to laugh when Brian had to pull out his glasses to see the answers. We all had a fun time and it didn't even matter to the boys that they didn't win (that's right mom & dad whopped up on them).

Super Bowl . . . . Who Dat!!

What an awesome game!!!
I wasn't sure who I was going for or if I even cared which team won, but I found myself cheering (loudly) for the Saints along with everyone else in the house.
We went to my brother & sister-in-law's house
Pre-game, my brother cooked a big kettle of beef stew which was very good, and the kids played games, first board games, then moved on to Wii. Then it was game time on the big screen!!! The kids got pumped, Noah was in his Reggie Bush shirt, and some of the others painted their faces with the black and gold. Like I started with, it was an awesome game -- look out Bourbon Street!!!!

The Variety Show

As a close to Catholic Schools Week we had our traditional variety show. This year's show paid tribute to countries around the world. Kade's class did a Vietnamese walk/dance and Noah's class did the Garden Waltz from our Czech heritage.
And tomorrow is their favorite part of Catholic Schools Week -- No School Tomorrow!!

welcome home kitty

Mr. Whiskers is back . . . .I know I didn't even post he was missing - I was going to but thanks be to God, he came home before I did.
Saturday night when we came home he and Wiggles ran out of the garage and Wiggles, proving she was here first and is the boss, chased him. When we called them back to the garage Wiggles came in, but Whiskers didn't. We've been looking for him and praying for him to come home since then. Kade even had his class praying for Whiskers to come home. This morning when we were leaving I happened to notice him on the patio, but he wasn't moving very fast, and he had a limp. I went and got him and put him in the garage so he would be safe. The boys were so happy and grateful to have him home. We already had an appointment to the vet scheduled for Friday, so hopefully everything is okay.
